Scan for codes. It might be that crankshaft position sensor, code P0320. Spark is restored when it has time to cool off a bit. When it stalled, you may have noticed the tachometer reading dropped suddenly.

If it runs, take it to an auto parts store and they will scan for free and explain the codes. Write then down and Google for more info. If you don't trust the Jeep to get you around safely, find a friend with a scan tool, or buy one on Ebay starting at $13. Also, some Jeeps self diagnose. Turn the key from Off to On three times quickly, stopping at "on", without starting the engine. The codes will show on the odometer display. Write them down. It will show "done" when it's done. Good Luck.
