I have seen this question asked on this forum about this vehicle most people that owned a jeep says the rear window wiper motor shorts out causing a drain on the battery. So not know if this is your problem but you can look into it. Most of them said they just get the wiper motor disconnected.

I had this happen to me in my 2000 Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD and it was the rear windshield wiper, I had my mechanic disconnect the rear wiper and everything was good.
