99 Jeep Grand cherokee

When I press on the brake, my oil level drops to
zero and the "check gauges" light comes on. I know
it has a very minor leak in the rear of the engine but
that's it. What could this be? I have a 99 Jeep
Grand Cherokee 4.7 v8. Maybe full synthetic oil was
put in or a bad oil pump?

I think you have an electrical short , look under the hood and dash for any cob job wiring
