and have no clue how to use the 4 wheel
drive option..... It has only 3 options. 4 wheel

if I only want to drive it as 2 wheel?

I've had the same Jeep twelve years. Put it in All-Time four wheel drive for highway use year round. It's fully automatic sending power to the wheels with most traction when wheel spin is detected. Neutral disconnects the drive train entirely. Four Wheel Low gears it way down for off road use and severe low speed conditions or when you're stuck. It locks it into four wheel drive full time so use it only on slippery conditions. You can run through all four/five gears from 0 to 40 mph with tons of pulling power as the reduction ratio is 2.73 to 1.0 in addition to the transmission's low ratios. This is the function that makes this Jeep such a beast in the Winter. It will leave 99% of SUVs behind...believe me, I've done it. To switch into low range, bump the tranny into Neutral while coasting one mph, and gently pull the 4x4 level back into Four Wheel Low. Drop the tranny into Drive and you're ready! Have fun.
