Will a 5.9 liter V8 bolt up to everything correctly
with no problem in a  1999 or 2001 or 2003 jeep
grand cherokee

No. The 5.9 was available in the 1992-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokees, but was replaced in 1999 with the 4.7 liter V8. But I know what you are thinking. The 5.9 engine was in the Special Orvis Edition and it was termed "the fastest production SUV" available at the time. Check it out on You Tube. It absolutely screamed!!
