my jeep shifts into reverse but doesnt move, drive and everything else works fine

Then your tranny needs to be replaced from the sounds of it

Dont listen to ed check your brake lights and backup lights if one is out this could be the cause

LMAO brake lights or reverse lights being out have nothing to do with whether or not the jeep moves. you ask just about any mechanic and they would think your on crack Ben!!!
