i own a 2000 jepp grand cherokee laredo 4x4 ,8cyl, 4.7l. recently my tail lights & brake lights went out. bulbs are good, fuse is good. if head lights are on 'auto' i have brake light but still no tail lights.

look and see if you have a hitch on the back with a tail light hook up look there first if not look at the plug ware the tail light hooks in to the tail light use a test light to find the short and follow it back to the light switch.
