Jeep WONT START

Asked by Jknadal Jul 12, 2018 at 06:08 PM about the 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My jeep wont start, I got a full diagnosis on the car
and my mechanic could not find the issue. He said
there was no pressure going from the engine to the
fuel pump, checked all the relays and still no
improvement on the car. He concluded it was an
electrical issue but could not find the source of the
problem. What can i do and what are my options?
Electric machanics are charging me a lot just for a
mere diagnosis, and I want to see if anyone can
help me here with some solutions before I commit
to something like that.

If it was diagnosed to no fuel pressure, you'll need to check for voltage at the pump, if voltage is present and still no fuel pressure, replace pump. If no voltage present at the pump, trace electrical wires to relay and computer.
