Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee 4.0L. On easter
Sunday was when my trouble begins, my car was
working perfectly fine all day until i got to my final
destination. When i was leaving from my second
family house my jeep acted like it didn't want to
start first time that happen but ut started and i
then made it to my final destination. I was there
for at least 2 and a half hours before trying to
leave, and then again the car acted like it didn't
want to start but it did start i made it down the
street nd the car completely shut off out of no
where. So i cut it off and tried to start it again, it
wouldn't work. So i had no choice but to leave my
car there. So finally my grandmother refer this
mechanic and he come and say its my fuel pump. I
get that change and still no luck then i change my
coil still no luck. Now the men is changing my crank
sensor. Could that been my problem all alone. If
that doesnt work what else can i do. I honestly feel
like the men is just trying to get extra money out
of me i don't have. I need help.. I never had any
trouble until that day my check engine light didn't
Come on til the next day after my jeep shut off..
What can i do to get my jeep running.
