Yes. The 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokees were offered with two engine options and being gasoline engines, they each had each had either six or eight spark plugs, one for each cylinder. Later model Jeeps had a six cylinder diesel engine which has no spark plugs. If your Jeep's engine is the 4.0 liter six cylinder, it may be hard to see the sparkplugs which are mounted under an ignition coil bar held in place by four bolts on the passenger side of the engine. Have your mechanic show you where.
