where is the crankshaft censer

Which engine is in your Jeep? Do you have the 4.0L straight 6, or the 4.7L V-6? On a 4.7L V-6, it is on the passenger side of the engine behind the starter. On the 4.0L straight 6, it is on top of the bell housing on the drivers side (not easy to get to.) Here is a video on how to change it on a straight 6.
