I wouldn't go through the extra hassle removing the gas tank cover, and I think the tank comes off with it. And you still have a stabilizer bar in the way. The way I changed my differential fluid was to pop out the rubber plug and slip a vacuum tube down into the bottom and suction all the oil out. I use my compressor and a home make rig to get vacuum. This way you don't have to remove all those cover bolts too. The front differential is easier to reach but I do it the same way.
