Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.  I just replaced the battery,
checked the starter relay and it's good.  Have power to the vehicle and when I
attempt to start it, the starter sounds like it is almost froze up.  I attempted
again and now all it does is click and doesn't even attempt to start.  Possibly a
new starter?

Replaced the starter. Found a brand new one on Amazon.com and paid about 1/2 the price that the parts stores wanted. Put the new starter in and now starts and runs with no issue.
