my 2001 grand cherokkee overdrive button aint switching, can it be replaced or have i got to replace tne whole gearshift handle?

I think their is a fuse box under hood that has a OD fuse in it.be worth checking.

Button alone can be replaced, I've seen this done on the Dodge Rams where the button is in the shift lever on the column.
