my 2004 jeep cherokee grand limited 4x4 ignition will not turn wheel wont turn left at all,will turn right{barley} but not enough to realease it , is there a trick ,have heard banging key deeper has worked . Any answers?

Either you key is worn to the point it's not raising the pins in the tumbler or your tumbler is faulty. Go to advanced and they will sell you both for about $20.

we figured it out !! It took a bit of pounding with a small hammer that (I won at slotworld raffle},came in a little duffel bag with a bunch of tools {best gift i ever got}it released a little towards me then i was able to crank wheel right then voila it released then started, also the stereo had turned off and on , so i knew we were close.
