Most all the WJ Jeeps (1999-2004) were AWD or four-wheel-drive as I like to call it but about 5% were two-wheel-drive. Look next to your transmission selector lever. The four-wheel-drives all had an additional lever to select low range, and possibly other options. And they were labeled either Select-Trac, Quadra-Trac, or Quadra-Drive. Without that second lever, it's two-wheel-drive. (And we are not talking about the parking brake lever.)

Is this a recent purchase? Ask the person you brought it from or refer to your owners manual. It might even see it on your title or registration.
So I don't know if it posted or not so I'll just go ahead and tell you again just in case it didn't. Just click on the link: https://m.driving-tests.org/vin-decoder/ input your VIN#, and it will tell you the year make model color etc, including how many drive wheels it gives power to. Its totally free and only takes a second.
