Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Very cold day and Jeep would not warm up

Also make sure your coolant level in the radiator and overflow bottle is topped up so air is not trapped in the heater core. That will be an easy thing to check first. In addition to a failed thermostat, some water pumps have plastic impellors that fall off and won't pump.
