Have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 and
it shuts off while on a red light with out notice
starts right up with in 2 min can someone tell me
what could be the problem

Scan for codes. It might be the crank shaft position sensor code P0320. If no codes, check fuel pressure (60psi) at the Schrader valve on the injector rail. Check/replace fuel filter if older than 30K miles. The fuel filter contains the fuel pressure regulator too so that's a two for one deal.
