Can a 2wd 2002 Grand Cherokee Laredo be towed with drive wheels on the ground/front wheels on a tow dolly?

yes and yes....have seen them four wheels on the ground behind a Winnebago and with a "stiff" towbar so the jeep would not swim like a fish...recommend a two wheel car hauler to be safe~ (u-haul)~

most of these gurus will say disconnect the driveshaft at the u-joints...if a thirty mile drive would not bother...if a 300 mile drive would disconnect and wire up the driveshaft~

2wd, disconnect driveshaft. Unless eng is running. Put trans in neutral and tow away. When engine is running, there is lube being supplied to moving parts in transmission.
My rear tires locked up after a flat tow on my 2002 jeep grand cherokee laredo its a 2wd not sure what the problem is i put the jeep in neutral any ideas
