2002 grand cherokee jeep limited 4.7 v8

Asked by Sam Feb 18, 2019 at 12:48 AM about the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi I have a problem with my jeep loosing revs and
dropping off when foot is down to accelerate and
starts to die and won't rev over 2500 rpm. We
changed spark plugs and done a compression test
on cylinders and all around average mark except
cylinder 7 which is only down a little compared to
the rest. Also have done fuel pressure test at the
rail and in spec 305 to 375 while at idle. Checked
all coil packs and seem to be sparking with engine
running. So thinking injectors maybe please help
and ready for any suggestions to wonder why its
dying under load when reving engine up.
