What you have circled is just a bolt, looks to be into the power steering, so no coolant from that. You may have a power steering line leaking tho. Keep in mind if you have coolant leaking from a hose, radiator, water pump, or freeze plug the leaking fluid can run down along something and appear to come from somewhere else.
Looks like the Steering gear box bolt. As Ken said, not coming from there. If there is coolant dripping off that bolt, it is running down from a leak above that point.
Looks to me that your lower radiator hose is wet. So I agree with the other two gentleman. You have a coolant leak from above. Check the water pump for the source of the leak.
It appears to be a very small ps leak i dryed evwrything drove it then let it set and checked it and there alittle wet spot on bottom of ps resovior and the hose below is is also wet im assuming from where it dripped it also seem to have dripped on the bottom of the crank pulley? . I also checked thermostat , water pump and all hose are dry dosent appear to be any coolant leaks
I dont undwrstand how the drop got on the bottom of pulley there is no leak up above it. Water pump and also around the pulley and top of the pulley are all dry dont understand how the drop got there
Definitely looks like a coolant leak from the picture of the damper pulley. It would have to be coming from above. Remember the engine block and water pump areas are much hotter than the pulley. So a very small slow leak could dry up from engine heat. The pulley won't get hot enough to dry the coolant off it. Thus the accumulation of coolant at the bottom of the damper pulley.
Your correct after looking carefully i found the leak it is the water pump you can see the cicled spot on the image there is a small wet spot on the bottom of the water pump
Yes. That is the weep hole on the bottom side of the water pump. When the seal goes out it will begin to leak and get worse progressively. Sometimes quickly. Replace it as soon as possible. In fact I'd recommend it not be driven until fixed. Especially if you have aluminum heads. If its the 4.7 engine , heat is it's worst enemy. Good luck. It really is an easy job to replace. About an hour and a half to complete.
I actually just replaced the seal . Does the weep hole leak also it the water pump eed replaced likw if the bearing is bad
Is it for sure the wated pump ? Dont wanna buy one if its not for sure
If the bearing is bad you can feel wobble in the fan as you grab one of the blades and try to move towards the front and rear of the car from the tip of the fan blades. sometimes the rubber seal that goes around the edges of the water pump will leak also. It's like a giant O ring. The problem presents itself when electrolysis sets in between the aluminum water pump body and the cast iron block. You will see evidence of this when it's removed and it will present itself as a white crusty substance. this is usually what cause the o ring leaks. if the weep hole has a discoloration coming from the hole then yes the water pump is leaking there. (Rusty looking stain).
If there was a leak there before trust me it will still be there until it is resolved or repaired.
Yes i know its just strange that it hasnt leaked today . But i already bought pump and it leak before so itll leak again
Like I said before, if there is a leak it won't just go away. It will get worse. If ignored it will catch up to you when you least expect it and you'll be down on the side of the road wishing you had addressed the problem earlier. Thus causing you even more money , time and inconvenience in the end
Yes i know . I have the pump just been working the last few days gonna put it on tonight when im off
