Asked by kellie Jan 19, 2019 at 01:33 PM about the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 02 wj and when braking i hear a
grinding noise from the front right but
also when making right hand turns i hear
the same grinding sound.
Rotors/pads/calipers are good and front
end is tight with no play. Could a bad
control arm bushing cause this grinding
when braking and turning ?

Check the front differential for fluid. They make a slight groaning sound on turns, but grinding would be more serious.
