Grand Cherokee larado 03 vibration

I have an 03 grand Cherokee Laredo when it's hot out I get a bad drag feeling and around 47mph I get a terrible, almost uncontrollable vibration. I know the rear axle seal is going bad and the rear brakes aren't far behind.  I just had the front brakes done, the tie rod and all of that were also done recently.  Can the rear axle seals cause this vibration?  What else could it be?
