2004 grand cherokee overheating

Trucks gauge is all the way to the 260mark
with out a thermostat, I took the therm" out
because of over heating when AC is on ,was
good for a while now is overheating again
no therm in, new fan, new radiator   what
else could  it be

If the temp display goes to very quickly and stays at 260 it could be the temp sensor. for ransom serious overheating, Check the water flow in the radiator to ensure the water pump is working and that no hoses are collapsing when hot. If all is good, it might be a blown head gasket.
