Can I put 245/75/17

I want to put larger tires on my 2004 Jeep grand Cherokee
Laredo freedom edition can I put 245 7517’s on there

WHY ??? By putting wider tires on you are actually making the car foot print lighter per square inch on the pavement making it more likely to hydroplane in rain , slush and snow , If your using it for a daily driver Just food for thought Good Luck

That's actually not wider just taller. I never could get a concrete answer...so I bit the bullet and bought Michelin LT245/75/17...10 ply...for a 2007 Grand Cherokee 5.7 hemi limited....they fit perfectly...but to be safe I'll cut the strut tower bolt...
