Overheating/No heat

Asked by SiM08 Jan 28, 2019 at 11:39 AM about the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I’m not sure what else to do. I have replaced the
thermostat, radiator, water pump and the heater
core in hopes that it would help. It hasn’t at all still
no heat and I’m almost positive that my car will
over heat yet again once summer comes back. I
have checked the fuses and they are fine but I
haven’t checked my relays yet about to do that.
Was hoping someone could have another idea as
to what it is other that the head gasket as that will
be my next investment.

Ed pretty much covered it. But you might also want to test your coolant to make sure it's not freezing up and unable to circulate. It should have a freeze point of -35 degrees F which is a 50/50 mixture. Draw the coolant from the radiator for testing. Add pure, concentrated, full strength antifreeze to lower the freeze point. The 50/50 mix is already too dilute to help.
