Why do my brakes squeek after replaciing them only 2 months ago?

I recently had my front brakes replaced and they're squeeking pretty bad. What I find interesting is, they squeek louder the harder I depress the brake pedal. Slight pressure = no noise, Average pressure = semi-loud squeek, Hard pressure( mainly to stop at a light ) = un bareable noise. Any suggestions on what it might be. And please, spare me the comments, "just get the brakes replaced". I'm going to but I need to know if it could be a quick fix or if I have to take it to the shop. Thanks

I looked at them and they seem fine. About half pad with no grooves in the rotor. I bought the mid grade pads but no new rotors. After driving on them for a while, I checked the rotors and they're gooved up pretty bad. I'm gonna get them turned( to save money if possible ) and see if that helps. Thanks for the input though.

Sometimes if your pads are semi-metallic, (have metal particles embedded in them) they will squeal. They will wear slower than organics, but wear the rotors faster as well...I have a '95 Lumina that you'd think was metal-on-metal, but it stops fine, wear is normal on pads and rotors, just louder than heck...
