The Jeep we have smokes black every time it starts. And if you step on it a bit it does it also, & also none of the windows roll down nor the power locks work. IDK what to do please help.

The piston rings are probably worn or worn valve seals allowing seepage of oil past them. When the engine sits, oil collects in the cylinders and burns with the fuel when started. This explains the smoke at start up and acceleration. On the electrical side, check the fuses. It could simply be a blown fuse or fuses that is disabling the windows and door locks.

Black smoke is usually a sign of too rich of a mixture of fuel because of injector or ignition problems. Blue smoke is a sign of oil burning.
