I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and it
says number 27 in the fuse box is rear fog lights
but I don't have rear fog lights and numbers 27 is
still taken what is number 27 for then if it's not for
rear fog lights

Could just be a spare fuse holder. It does show "Rear Fog Lamps (If Equipped)". Pull the fuse and see what stops working.
