Bad smell with smoke

Asked by Starr1369 Sep 05, 2019 at 05:02 AM about the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I replaced the thermostat, fuel filter and crank
sensor. Its running now. Sometimes it has a hard
time starting. But will eventually start and run. Was
coming home from work last night. Got home
there was a bad smell and smoke coming from
three engine. When I looked it looks like it's
coming from the right side by the lower pulley.
Witch also looks like it had grease coming out of
it. Its over 200000 miles on it. Its my only car and I
can't afford a new. Can anyone give any advice.
Greatly appreciated.
