Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that will start but shut right off. I can rev it a little but it will still shut down so I know its getting fuel. I had the skim replaced about 5 months ago at a dodge dealership. when I turn the key to the run position the windows will not go down or will the gages move. I also tried pulling the battery cables for 1 hour and still does same thing.

i know on my jeep i had a key copied and it would start the jeep then it would stall out but the regular key would start it fine and if i held the regular key near ignition and used new key it runs fine. theres a sensor or something in the key for anti theft so someone can't copy the key and steal jeep maybe your battery in key is dead

Tks. But already changed the batteries for the keys on my 2006 Grand Cherokee and still does the same thing.
