Getting fire and fuel no security lights are on runs 2
seconds and quits will not start again for several
hours

I agree with GuruVFDPP. The crankshaft position sensor is just about the most common failure on this Jeep. Scan for codes and if P0320 comes up, we are right. This Jeep will self scan. Without cranking the engine, turn the key from Off to On three times quickly and stop at "On". The odometer display will show stored fault code(s) in sequence, then it will show "done". Write them down and Google the codes.
