Loose Throttle

I have a 1999 Audi A6 Quattro Sedan and the throttle/gas pedal is a little loose
or wobbly. I would like to know what exactly the problem is, how to fix it, and
how much it would cost. Thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated.
