I have a 2006 grand jeep cherokee. It's been parked for about a year. Has 46000 miles. Recently got it started...turns on real good...when we shift to the d position it knocks.

might be the bracket...where the transmission fluid
is. I said ok.

It would have been a good idea to have started the engine once every two weeks, why did it sit idle for an entire year?
