Car trying to start without key

Our car was switched off and then it tried to start
itself . You can hear the engine turning. We
disconnected the battery and tried again the next
morning where the battery sparked and the car
tries to start again on ots own

Do you have an aftermarket remote start/alarm? It's pretty common for these cars to have ignition switch problems. Generally, the car wont start when that is the issue. It could be your starter. These are just guesses.
