Can the transmission out of a 03 or 06 Audi fit into a 97 Audi?

A trany would fit but the computer componates will be differant. Also look in the trunk in your tire wheel well and find the trany number and match it up with any other car your planing to swap it from. Otherwise you will end up with a car that wont move.

open your trunk remove the cover for the spare and behind your spare there is a number on a label. attached is the place the trany number is Match any other trany with this number and it is compatible.

My name is matt. And i have a 99audi a4 quattro that has a timing problem..i have the chance to by a 04 or 05 audi a4 turbo can i do an engine swap or will there be problems because one is turbo and one isn't.. pls help me
