Check your air induction hose. I believe it will be on your left as you look at the engine. I have seen the black hose split that goes from the air filter to the throttle body. When this occurs, it will suck too much air and kill the engine. The car will usually idle, but when you hit the gas, it dies.

Good answers. On the 93-94's....Look at the center firewall, Check the square socket bolt holding the snorkel to the throttle body. Make sure thats tight. Also check in between is a large rubber oval gasket that seals the TB and Snorkel. That could be damaged and or kinked out of position causing a leak there. Id remove and inspect the whole thing. Under the engine cover and snorkel, there are some critical vacuums lines near firewall area that can cause the car not to run or like massive crap if they are leaking.
