Check air ride system notice comes
on every time I drive. Back end of
car is a little high, front end is pretty
normal. But the car doesn't adjust
the suspension when gettin in or out
any more. Air bags seem to be
holding air. Any idea what is making
the air ride system light appears?

Possibly the height sensor. That is what controls the compressor to inflate bladders under a heavy load or deflate them to put the car at proper height and load-carrying. Click for full screen

Anyone having issues with the Mark VIII Air suspension system should be aware its completely scan able... connector on passenger side under hood. I purchase Lincolns 1987-2007 MK VIII and Town Cars. Parts, Service.
Replace the relay on the side of the air pump, located on the passenger side in front of the tire,it is a small metal box with two small screws on it one plug as well on it I replaced mine and works well now
