Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Last week going shopping noticed a wet spot on garage floor, put fingerin it no smell, not oily. Today, same thing only a larger wet spot. Took car out, about 1mile into the trip put the breaks on car was not stoppin right. Continued, red light Brakes! showed up continued to the store got worse on the way home to the point that the brakes had to be really pushed hard. Red brakes! light on. Can I just fill the the brake fluid up or what coul it be? Coming from under the middle of the car. It's my " Baby"..
Thank You

The Town cars are notorious for the metal brake lines( which lead to the rear of the car along the frame) to be corroded and rusted through. Normal repair would involve splicing into two good areas of the line and installing a new section of metal line using compression fittings. Ask your shop if the have rolled brake line tubing.
