what year lincoln towncars are compatible via year or models

I have to change the transmission on my 1993 Lincoln Towncar Signature series and im going to buy a used one my question is what other years/models will be compatible???

'92, '93 '94 with 4.6L Town Car for sure. I tried to find an application chart, no luck. But I know there has to be plenty of Lincoln's and Fords use same one, AOD Automatic Overdrive.

My 94 has 98 crown Vic detective car transmission in it new its the newer trans then what came in the Lincoln but plugged right in works great shifts good and if you want a trans that will take a beaten get detective car for your parts not been road hard like cop cars and must have 120,000 to 160,000 miles on them but been well taken care of
