1993 lincoln town car. Have static in am radio when in the run position wether engine is running or not, but not in accessary position

The 1993 Town Car 4.6L has a return-type fuel system. Unused fuel, when fuel pressure reaches a certain psi is pumped back to the tank. It "thinks" the engine is running with key on run So it may be the fuel pump motor causing the static. Or the air-suspension compressor. Both of those just a guess. But I had once a 1990 TC Signature with for all the quality of the TC a terrible radio
