Starts up and idling rough and dies

Sounds like it misfires like ten are twenty
seconds while it tries to idle and then the
car dies

Give it a tune-up and check fuel pressure.

My son has a 1990 lincoln town car 5.0 we took it 3 times to the shop they fixed the mufflers , spark plugs , cap and rotor it still not running right what can ut be it smells like gas its running rich and sends lits of gas towards the spark plugs it burns them

Check the iac valve, clean and if not working after clean replace My 1990 5.0 did EXACTLY this. Replaced iac valve was good as new

hey guys, GuruB7124, did it help? I suffer the same problems and I'm aboutr to spend 40$ on new IAC valve, but I want to be sure that it will work
