Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Runs like a dream, but upon stopping it will idle fine and almost out of
nowhere the throttle will start surging like it may be the throttle sensor. I
thought maybe the IAC as well. Please someone what is the absolute most
common issue like this in those engines? It's getting worse by the day and
yesterday I went to the gas station 5 minutes away and (of course) when
leaving there it died over and over again. I finally got it to run long enough I
slammed it in 1st gear and took off to keep from getting stranded there. I'm
between jobs and very poor right now so I'm looking for common...common
Ford 4.6L issue to look for when I go get up in it today. If you have a really
good hunch sh*t email me at will.cartwright@gmail.com. I'm THAT desperate!
Ha!

I would go after the IAC valve, make sure you also clean throttle body good.
