Sounds like there is a problem with the A/C controls. I had a similar issue with a Buick Road Master after the heater core was replaced. They pinched a vacuum hose under the dash which controlled the blend doors. It would not switch between defrost and floor. After complaining, they reluctantly re-checked their work and found the issue.
no air coming out of floor vents, especially passenger side. recently had ac repaired.
