locked keys in trunk. trunk button not working. is there another way to get in trunk also is there a inside trunk release

This would be a great time to find that blown trunk release fuse. You might be able to remove the rear seat back. If there is an inside trunk release, it will be a glow in the dark T handle.

I looked at a pic of the trunk area of this car (see photo)....unless I'm mistaken, there is a keyhole there to manually open up the car with a spare key (I'm assuming you do have another set of keys...If not, definitely follow tenspeed's advice). Good Luck!

The wires that are behind the trunk release button can be stripped a bit and ran to the battery with wire leads and opened rather easily. Done it myself. No need for locksmith or any damage to vehicle.

we have had several Lincoln Towncars with extended length. We have never had a problem until now. Our 2010 trunk will not close all the way and we have to use the key to open it. Is there a fuse involved with it. if so where is it? The Ford dealership wants over a $1000 to fix it. It has less than 100,000 miles on it. does it have a warranty?
