I disconnected the battery on my Lincoln town car 98 and now it won't start

It turned over at first but now it doesn't even turn over  but everything else works lights ...

Did you leave the key in the ignition switch when you disconnect the battery?

Oh that's the problem. Put the KEY IN YOUR POCKET. Disconnect the battery for about a half hour (charge it up) then try to start it. MAYBE that will do the trick. Now don't do that again.

I wasn't very detailed earlier but I was putting after market speakers and amp in it after I was done I started it once it was ok then I tried restarting it and I could only turn over and now it won't even do that ...do you think it could be the anti theft?
