Time to remove the oil filter and see if that's where its leaking from, make sure you clean the area around the filter good...

OK could it really be something that simple?? Second and last question!! Say if I change the filter and its still leaking; then move towards the gasket next?
The thing is there is no other gasket that is there, so take it step by step.
Wrong.....The oil filter adapter has a gasket between it and the engine block. These are prone to leak and the coolant has to be drained to replace the gasket. Fel Pro 70801 is the part number.

Yea I went ahead and pulled the gasket sure enough it was busted so thanks alot cause I thought it was worse they way that oil was coming out
Glad you got it fixed. That is a common problem with the 4.6 in the Lincolns, Mercury Marquis and Ford Crown Victorias.
I'm having the same problems with my 95 lincoln continental I traded with 77k miles. I noticed today in the garage car ran 15 minutes it stop soon as everything got warmed up. Same spot as everyone is saying it's leaks. How hard is it to remove on my car? Does anybody have a step by step on how to remove? Does the motor mounts need to be removed and everything from the area to get to this adapter gasket between the block Bob
