control switch for outside mirror adjustment does not respond correctly

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I press the switch to move the mirror "in", it goes "up" instead.  If I push it out, it
goes down instead.  It seems a couple of the arrows on the switch don't work at all.
What's wrong? Can I fix it?

first try and spray contact cleaner in the switch and work it.....
