Hi Jeff, I had very same problem on my 2002 Lincoln TC. Under the hood, find the blower motor on the pasenger side firewall. Look to the right, see where the 2 small coolant hoses are, inbetween them you will see a small plastic unit with 2 screws on it. Thats the unit. It is recomended to remove the 2 hoses, but you can do it without removal if you are carefull and patient. Also, When I purchased part from Advanced Auto, there were two listed. Both from same manufacturer and almost identical #, one for $50 and one for $200. No one could tell me the difference, so I bought the $50. one(they don't even stock the $200 part) but about a year or so later, I had to replace again. Coincidence? I don't know, just letting you know

Is there a way to check the resistor before replacing it?
