Lincoln runs Great except in drive!

I have a 03 towncar and it runs fine when i have it
in park or reverse or nuetral but the second the car
is put into drive it starts bogging down and almost
like its choking the all of a sudden its will get a
shot of energy as if its catching back up the right
back to sputtering and putting throw it back into
nuetral and fine whats going on

scan for codes even if the light ain't on , check monitor list too , hopefully it's not a short , look for loose/ broken vacuum lines
